Paragons are great support characters. Not many people are good at them though.

To sum it up:
Paragons are incrediably overpowered, just a lot of people don't know it. However, they are also incrediabley boring and repeatitive to play. |

I have never used the sy imbagon build... and if people ask me to run it, Ill rattle off a bunch of reasons why I wont. Actually thats a lie-- I used to use SY&Spear of Fury on my Anthem of Guidance build when I first started h/h the duncan levels (before ursan went pop)
I have been playing my paragon since NF came out, and she has over 1/5th of my account's hour total. Paragons make fine tanks despite some peoples' opinions. Paragon is my favorite class due to its versatility... Paragons are sexy, and to each their own. End of discussion. Last edited by Horseman Of War; Jul 13, 2008 at 03:17 PM // 15:17.. |

i have to agree with OP. when i pug i love to have a para in the team, but nowadays, it seems hard to find people playing para, especially on tyria hard mode (crossing over from nf) . i knew few para character whom i played with and i know how good a para really is. we strolled pass destruction depth and gate of madness HM (among the hardest missions in gw) with breeze.
go para go !! |

You never see paragons, because the only people that pug anymore do it because:
1)They don't have heros (Prophecies/Factions only) 2)They don't have the skills unlocked/are too dumb to make decent hero builds. 3)They are getting their rocks off PuGing. |

Paragon is a versatile Class that should never lack for a group when experienced players get together. Personally I enjoy buffing up my party with chants and then skewering the enemy with a blazing spear. hehe If they just had some better armors they would be one of my favorites for sure. |

paragon is my main char, what more to say. So far i have never had the trouble of finding a good PUG. Paragons got one of the best energy management, faster attack speed than a bow etc. Running SY they can be the best support class in the game, besides the outright healing of a monk
